I'll have to take a better picture tomorrow! With the site down, I left it too late to take a good one.
Believe it or not, I did try TLC334, Color Blocking with a Twist. I used watercolour crayons misted on a block, but after six attempts I gave up trying to achieve a clean edge and just diecut the rectangle.
Thoughts and Prayers stamped in Versafine Black, with a red marker for the flowers. Matted on black.
With more success I tried TLC290, Lace Sponging. I must have missed that one altogether, I had no recollection of it. It's clear in real life - I used Shabby Shutters on white card. Small Fanciful Flourish cut from Bazzill Bling and decorated with a few pearls.

I'm so glad I opened this so I could see that pretty lace BG you created on this very pretty card. I like how you did the flowers.
Oh, if you want to start a support group for people who cannot seem to achieve that color blocking technique - I'm in! I personally destroyed quite a bit of watercolor paper one day and had to retreat for a very large latte!
