I CASE'd this card Framed Inchies Thank You card by jasonw1 at Splitcoaststampers, but mine is more CAS. I used a different image and a different edge punch. My husband wasn't sure if a birthday card should be black. The recipient is a coworker of mine in her mid thirties.

I love this and I especially love the bird image you chose, it is one of my favorites! I think your co-worker will find this both creative and uplifting. Any handmade card is meaningful to one who doesn't do this process themselves and she will recognize the time and effort put into making something special for her. I thank you for being inspired by one of my cards during my week as queen!

Black is such a rich, elegant color on any card and tends to dress up the creation. My opinion is that it would go well with any occasion, male or female recipient. The scalloped edges make this card feminine, and your friend should appreciate it!
