My granddaughter will be competing in a dance competition in Lancaster, Pennsylvania this summer. Today's WT challenge was to include a horse on your card. If you've ever been to Lancaster or any Amish community, you will see these horse-drawn buggies a lot. I used images from four different sets from Mark's Finest Papers, a Heinrich Company, to make this card. I'm going to give it to my granddaughter to wish her luck.

This horse challenge came at just the right time..I love your postcard image of the horse and buggy and I do know about all the Amish in Lancaster..definitely something you'd see there! Great card for your DGD.

Wonderful scene with a beautiful image, Lois. We see these in SW Michigan and northern Indiana as well, but I have been to Lancaster also and seen the Amish buggies there. What a perfect card for your granddaughter.

Oh, this is a wonderful card, Lois! We live in an area that has these buggies, and they are out in full swing on Sundays especially! Our Wal-Mart has a hitching post for them! I love this pretty scene; so calming and soothing.

May I just say that is is so fabulous and SO fitting for going to Lancaster. I grew up in Ohio and am very familiar with the Amish and Lancaster, PA. Such a beautiful scene.

Beautifully colored-makes me feel right at home. We have a large Amish community just North of here and even a few families in our town. The WalMarts up there have hitching posts!
