This is a card I made using the Traced Doodling technique, but instead of tracing a stamped image I traced around a die cut image. I used pencil to give it more definition, but you could use maker, pencil crayons, metallic pens... or anything you like.
To make the coloured piece that is underneath the die cut, I used some Distress Paints on a piece of 140lb coldpress watercolour paper that I had sprayed liberally with loads of water (that makes the distress inks soft and well-blended). I used these colours: barn door, spiced marmalade, mustard seed, mowed lawn, and broken china.
Happy Crafting!
