This card based on the simple sketch, took me a long time to get it just right. I almost gave up and threw it away, but I kept tweaking it until I got this finished result. It originally had a blue sheet music background. so I guess you could say a LOT of tweaking. The gladiolus and sentiment are from a Mark's Finest Papers set called GLAD GLADS and the butterflies are from a MFP set called DAFFODIL GREETINGS. Burlap, sewing machine, ribbon, pearls, scalloped punch, scalloped scissors, itty bitty circle punch, hot glue and buttons (for giving dimension to the top gladiolus.) finished off the card

This is a very pretty card. I love the burlap background, and the pearl stick pins. Thats a little country and a whole lot of elegance. Love the color chioces too .Great job great card. tfs.

Some days take a lot of tweaking don't they! Love the final result though! The burlap makes a great backdrop for your gorgeous flowers and butterflies!

Beautifully done - I just love the burlap bg, you have coloured the butterflies and flowers so well and I love the addition of the stick pins and the gorgeous sheer ribbon!! It was so worth it to keep going with this one as the end result is just fabulous!!
