One more for the sketch challenge. Even though I used my Stamp-a-ma-jig to stamp my vertical panel it was still a bit off. I had the die cut umbrella man already cut-I used my scarred up plates to get some texture on him and sponged a bit of Whisper White craft ink to show these off. I used a vellum piece for my circle element.I used a banner sentiment (the backing piece is the larger banner from the set that I cut twice to fit around the smaller banner) adding some sponging while they were in the die. I also stamped some right on the vellum. It looked a bit bare, so I added some spatter at the end.

Gail, what a cool card! Love that silhouette and black and white color scheme. Great job!

If you "know" my cards, you know I cannot resist my Umbrella Man die or stamps. You have showcased him nicely on this terrific card! I like that bkgrd panel and the spatters, too. I like adding subtle bkgrd ink as I think it adds a lot to cards.
