It's another Teapotter Tuesday here at SCS. Today we are helping a couple of rookie cops dress as women to go undercover. No woman would go out without her purse and I've made one that resembles Brighton. LOVE that Brighton red leather. This one is a small clutch that will fit easily inside a pocket when the rookie cop draws his gun to arrest the bad guys!
I drew this little purse pattern ages ago and have used it many times. Can add a handle if desired. The closure is made with a dogwood punch and velcro. Daisy is a punch and leaves are a die. Gave the faux leather look by dry embossing with a EF and then using clear embossing powder and a heat gun. Leaves and daisy were also given this same treatment thus all looking like expensive soft leather. The black half pearl in the daisy center is meant to look like onyx. The last Tuesday of each month the teapotters get to send our cards each other. Our names are chosen by ramdom drawing. To learn more about the Teapot Tuesday Challenge check us out on the home page.
We are enjoying a nice spring morning here in central Ohio and all of our fellow stampers in Wyoming, Utah and Colorado are being snowed on. Be safe out there....

Oh wow - into my favourites with this one. I love all that embossing (kicking myself that I forgot how good it looks for fauz leather) - it looks amazing on the leaves. The flower for the clasp looks really great, too.

That faux leather technique looks amazing. I'm beginning to think the teapotters need to set up a handbag design company, because this and some of the others are truly wonderful creations.
