I cut the Chevron out of a brown paper bag. I had them sitting by a scrap of a map and I liked how the colors looked together. I was just going to have them side by side, but before I could glue them down they shifted and they looked like a trellis to me so I sewed them down a little off center and added some quilled roses and floral filler. I added a stamped sentiment from Mark's Finest Papers set called MOTHER'S MAGNOLIAS. I added a butterfly from Mark's Finest Papers set called DAFFODIL GREETINGS. I also added some pearl stick pins.

Isn't it amazing how things just fall into place....this is sooo gorgeous, Marilynn!!!!! The trellis is such a great idea and I love the map background!!!!

Yes, that's what I thought when I saw them too - they look like a trellis, especially with those pretty flowers! The map as a bg really works on this gorgeous card.
