I am in love with the new SU "Simply Pressed Clay" that is in the new 2013-14 Annual Catalog. One of the perks to being a Demo is that we get our catty and pre-orders a month early, so we have time to make samples.
There are also 2 clay molds: Buttons and Blossoms that work with the clay, but I just free formed my vase and then stamped the dragonfly using one of my Best of Butterflies stamps. Let it dry overnight and then painted with 2 of the new In Colors: Baked Brown Sugar and Crisp Cantalope.
The sweet little flower and sentiment are from an old retired set "Dream a Little" and watercolored with my aqua painter using the Crisp Cantalope and Gumball Green ink pads. I did stamp the flowers twice, cut out and popped up the blossoms.
I LOVE the new Washi Tape too...my 1st time to use. There are 3 different designs and widths in the Gingham Garden Designer pkg. I put two strips of the Daffodil Delight gingham together for my card.
This card is for todays CAS218 inspired by a quote challenge. The sunrise in the quote inspired my card.
This card is also for the Inkspirational Challenge #17...sketch challenge and....

This is so sweet. Love your free-form vase with the stamped image - adds so much texture and interest. Love the flowers layered and popped up. Great use of the washi tape - can't wait for mine to arrive!! ... and gingham no less!! Congrats on covering off so many challenges with this one card - awesome job! And thanks for joining us at Addicted to CAS and supporting me (as always!). Loll xx

Yes, Nancy, that works very well for a May Day card, I am glad you enjoyed mine, it was fun to make, this is a lovely lovely card, now I cant wait for the new catty and I am loving two of the new incolors already. The clay looks fun although I have worked with it before and made sand dollars. It is neat to stamp and pop the flowers like that, TFS
