Coming in tardy this week to honor Barb Bratvold, a teacher in Evansville, MN and this week's Teapot Tuesday destination. Since 1995, Barb and her Kindness Club, made up of her students, meet twice a week to discuss the importance of playing together, including others, following rules and complimenting people. However, the clubÂ’s primary activity consists of creating handmade cards to lift the spirits of others, exactly what the Teapotters like to do as well. It was suggested by Dorothy (etsdes) to honor her this week after reading about her story in the local paper. The Teapot Tueday link is here.

Oh, so cute - great eyes and cork - with an assortment of crayolas for the kids to use to color their cards! No detentions - no tardies for TeaPotters LOL!!! I do thank you for participating in this week's party - I know both teacher and students will be looking forward to mail time!

I'd say this adorable card hits the mark for a teacher! I love the cork, the chalkboard, the cute apple and the crayons that frame the whole front! Fantastic and deserving of the star that is on the front!

I definitely agree with some of the comments above me...that cork for the background is awesome...very creative and just perfect for your teacher themed card. Very nicely done.
