This is my card for this weekÂ’s color challenge #423. Becky is our hostess and she chose river rock, baja breeze and not quite navy. Our dessert option is to use plaid or stripes. I used both with my dsp choices.
I thought these colors would make a great masculine card so that was my starting point.
My sentiment from the Waltzingmouse “man of the hour" set.
I stamped in not quite navy on river rock cardstock. I stamped and popped up the word “God” for added dimension. Cut with the Spellbinders labels 4 die. The button is a SU sizzlits die.
My layout is an old MojoMonday sketch #250. The background baja breeze dsp is from the SU collection “Parisian Breeze”. The next panel is using not quite navy dsp from the SU collection nautical expedition”. I cut the pennant flags with the Verve “pennant trim” die.
My vertical panel is cut in not quite navy cardstock and I used the SU square lattice ef. I cut a flag with an MFT flag stax die in baja breeze.
ThatÂ’s my card for this weekÂ’s challenge. Hope you can play along with us.

WOW, Mary, this card is a true winner! I love the sketch and that you got both of the dessert options in there. And that sentiment just can't be beat. Great card!!

I love this monochromatic look - just enough difference in shades of blue to make it interesting. I also love how you have used layering to make this card.
I really like it.
