Bridget chose Missro or Robin to be our Featured Stamper. Congratulations to Robin a talented stamper for sure. I enjoyed strolling through your gallery. I came upon a simple but lovely card using an older image of a lilac. It reminded me to dust off this set to create a Mother's Day card. We had huge lilac bushes on the side of the house where I grew up so they really remind me of my Mom.
For my CASE I added some layers instead of embossing the frame. I changed the sentiment to Mothers Day and added a few pearls & ribbon to step it up for Mom. It doesn't show in the photo, but I spritzed this with Pearl Glimmer Mist to add a little shimmer. I'll create several of these for my upcoming craft fair. Thanks for the inspiration!

Ooh I knew exactly the card you chose to CASE and a lovely job you did, Cathy! Beautiful! All's well in Seattle ... hope that's true for you, too.

Thanks SCSers for all your encouragement!
As a child I can remember a line of lilac bushes across our alley way. I can still recall the fabulous smell when they bloomed this time of the year. You and Robin have stirred up that memory for me that so often cards will do for us. Thanks for sharing. Wonderful card Cathy.

Very pretty CAS Kathy, fabulous Mother's Day card... It makes me wish I hadn't gotten rid of my set.. I love lilacs... I would say they are probably my favorite flower for the smell..

Kathy, I sure am glad you dusted off this set because this is just lovely! Beautiful CAS design and I love how you did both a dark and light version of the lilacs. I'm partial to the darker ones which will be in bloom here shortly! TFS!
