The current ODBD challenge is "anything other than a classic rectangle or square".
Since I've had the pot for this Flower Pot Pocket Card sitting on my desk - well, ever since the last time I made one and went for a different colour in the end - I thought it was about time to use it up.
Like my other card this goes to someone under the cloud of cancer right now. Her scheduled op for the 5th was postponed because she had a bad cough, so this should reach her before the rescheduled date next week.
I followed the tutorial linked above, using an SU puch for the decorative border, and wrapping first with wide ribbon to hold it closed, then adding tied twine with the tag. All papers are Sizzix Little Sizzles. I used Spellbinders Roses for the flowers, with a stamen and foliage punch, and some Liquid Pearls in the flower centres. I added a little butterfly from the Faith set.
On the inside, I used a flower from Be Joyful stamped in Bundled Sage, and a verse from Scripture Series 3.

Love how you used up the flower pot to make this beautiful card - the twine around the pot and the sweet tag will be so appreciated, and will your attention to detail with the stamens and flower center and the great DP you used for the flower punches - such happy colors!! Hope this card warms the heart of the one it goes to.
Was so nice to see someone used the Scripture verse I submitted in for last year's Customer Favorites set - this one is so near and dear to my heart!
Hugs!
