I love today's Ways to Use It challenge "Window Card" as I love using my window dies.
I live in Vancouver, Canada and we are right in the middle of our annual Cherry Blossom Festival - we have thousands of ornamental cherry trees that line various streets and it is so beautiful at this time of year, so I was inspired to do a card with a cherry tree in blossom outside of a window.
I inked it up in pigment inks and clear embossed it so that it would be easier to sponge the sky and grass around it without the sponging discolouring the image. I used a couple of cloud-shaped masks and a wavy mask for the horizon.

Really a pretty window card, Susan. I love the interior with what looks like real wallpaper and that gorgeous arched window. Your budding tree "outside" is beautifully done.

Pretty "wallpaper" and a lovely cherry in bloom.
They're still not out here much - I felt so sad last weekend because we went to a local park and there were rehearsals going on for a Japanese Festival the following day. I'm sure when they scheduled it they were expecting the cherry trees along the edge of the lawn to be awash with blooms at this time of year.

I'll bet the streets are beautiful! This card sure is. I should have bought that stamp. I've always wished I had. It sure makes a pretty tree to view through the window!
