I used Jan's card here for my inspiration. Congratulations to Jan for being the Queen this week! I wanted to make a card that represented the comfort of home. The hexagons punched on the Secret Garden paper gives the card a warm quilt feel. The eagle is a symbol of the USA. I think it will make a nice Hero card for OWH. I kept Jan's basic design, the sponged bg and the sun/moon shape. I used the ODB eagle, colored with Copics and popped up. My change is the colors and the changes to the bg.

oooh, really cool with the background embossing. Love how you embedded the bigger hexs into it and made one hex into a sun. Love the eagle soaring overtop!

Joyce Ann, I love how you got inspired by Jan's beautiful card! I love the hexagons....both the embossing and the quilt look piecing of the patterned papers. This certainly gives a comfort feeling. Love the eagle too!
