I love the new Mix-ability challenge! It really gets me out of my creative box and has me using supplies that I'd purchased to use "someday..."
Korin's fun sketch this week really lent itself to featuring more than one panel, so I used it for a template. Covered CS with foil, ran through a TH EF then covered unevenly with gesso (thanks Lydia for relaying even the error part of your trial and error) then brushed with alcohol ink. After drying, I sanded it a bit then applied green Patina metal ink to some of the panel. Dried again, sanded again and sprayed lightly with copper Glimmer Mist. Used masking and Black Magic techniques to make the Fabulous Florets a bit more fab. Made a yellow satin bow, matted some BG lime rickey and mounted all on a scored a large Crushed Curry card. Stamped the flourishes senti and done.
This card is being sent to Japan to the woman I hope will one day be my daughter-in-law. Thanks Lydia and Korin for the inspiration. Thank you all for looking and have a peaceful day.

I love your card and very detailed description. Having seen so many of your cards and reading the lovely comments you make to everyone, the lady in Japan will be very, very lucky to have you as a mother-in-law!!!
