Today's Ways to Use It Challenge is to use fruit or veggies on our cards. I also used yesterday's sketch. I decided to go with a pear. I stamped my pear in Pear Pizzazz onto Natural Ivory cs. I masked it then stamped the French Script in Soft Suede and sponged the same onto the edges. I watercolored my pear with So Saffron, More Mustard and Pear Pizzazz. I cut a top note in river rock dp then inlaid it onto the card base of Suede with the TH Gridlock ef. I used a piece of dp that I distressed and sponged for my 2nd panel and also distressed the Artichoke framing around my pear. My sentiment is also crumpled and distressed.

Great use of the sketch embossing the bottom panel into the base, Gail! And I like your DIY pear and script ;-), I loved the hostess set that had a stamp like that - it's when I bought a pear stamp so I could DIY my own.
I was thinking of you just the other day - I rarely cross O'Connell Street on the bridge, but I did when I was meeting my sister at the weekend, and it made me think back to meeting up with you.

Beautiful neutrals with the added interest of textures on your lovely card featuring the golden pear, Gail. The distressed edges add a wonderful rustic feeling too.
