The You Can Do It challenge 13 this week was to make a card using the "Squash" fold technique. I chose one of the easiest options and kept it all pretty CAS. The card is 5" square and the inside "squashed" piece started as 6 5/8" square. I used dsp for the inside paper and left one section plain so I could write my greeting. Then I punched photo corners from the same dsp to tie the various areas together.
For the inside sentiment, I inked the stamp with More Mustard, then dabbed it with Cajun Craze, but I'm not sure that shows up in the photo. The image on the front is one I stamped at a friend's house years ago. I'm sure it's SU, but don't know the name. I think this is one of my first efforts using Copics and I see that the colors aren't blended very well. I sponged the edges with More Mustard and Cajun Craze.
I chose autumn colors so this card would also qualify for the AOCC13G challenge to use something on the card showing our favorite season – for me, this is fall.
