Put on a new pot of tea.......I'm sure the last one is cold by now, as I am a week late for last week's Teapot Tuesday challenge, making a tickle card for a fellow teapotter. We were to feature chickens or other fowl to chase off the bad, bad rooster! I did not have an appropriate stamp, so I got on line and used part of a photo out of the google photo gallery. Lots of chickens here to do the job! I used the Spellbinder's Fleur de Lis mat, but cut off the two side edges to make room on an A2 card. This also fits the AOCC challenge for the beginning of April to use something on your card that shows my favourite season, which is summer. I used little crocheted daisies.

Was just checking back to see if there were late comers and there you were. Love your chickens and your frames for them. And the daisies are cute ---did you crochet them---that thin thread is hard to work with sometimes. Cute card.

Too stinking cute, and good thinkin' to find what you wanted to use on your card - love summer too, so those cluckin' hens are welcome here too!

Fabulous, Ina. I think there are enough "hens" to run any ol' rooster! You did a very nice job featuring all the challenge elements, but more than that ... you created a card that will encourage someone. That's worth all the golden eggs on the farm don't you think? And by-the-way, summer is my favorite season as well. Love those crocheted daisies.

I'm even later checking in to admire your lovely card, Ina! The little crocheted daisies are sweet. And you trimmed the Fleur de Lis amazingly - I wouldn't have known if you hadn't mentioned it.
