Saturday I took a class at my favorite stamping store. The ArtLenz system allows you to create images with faux motion, faux depth, magnified color intensity, and/or images that appear and disappear (check out www.artlenz.com)... to 'see' these effects requires 'in person' viewing with both eyes, but scanned images will not reproduce the effects. We did a number of techniques in class and it was a blast.
IRL this one there's ALOT of motion as the colors/stripes move... brayered color is 'solid' across the card but with the ArtLenz sheet over it areas of color 'disappear' and move as you move/tilt the card. Glossy white CS was brayered with color from a spectrum pad then image stamped in black ink, then the ArtLenz lens sheet was applied over the stamped image.
My lesson learned from this card: if you don't want the perpendicularity/parallelness of the colors & areas of 'disappeared colors' then you need to apply the ArtLenz Lens sheet so IT'S stripes are not parallel or perpendicular to the brayered color stripes.
