Well to save a little time, I combined two challenges with this card. I used the week 1 sketch for April's Viva la Verve sketch challenge here turned sideways. But this card is actually for Donnie, this week's Teapot Tuesday destination here. Donnie is fellow teapotter Jan's (Preciouskitty) friend and he is suffering from a degenerative muscle disease. I have a twin sister who has a form of MD herself so I have a little idea what he might be going through. I didn't bring any fruits, veggies, or even the color blue, but it IS masculinish so hopefully it will still cheer him up!

Sure it is like a bit of a vegetable....it's a "seed " for thought. I LOVE this sentiment,,,never quite thought of it like this before...so cool...I love the colors too, with that woodsy bg....the vellum?...and the 2 screws are wonderful look together....will be loved greatly...TFS...:0)

Love that weathered wood BG paper - the ideal spot to hang this inspiring quote - I know Donnie will embrace this wholeheartedly! Great masculine card!!

Lynn, a gorgeous masculine card! Love that sentiment and the way you have done it in silver. Great job!

A wonderful masculine card. This is sort of a garden card, as it features the garden fence! I love the embossed sentiment and also those masculine brads.
