This is the third card I made for the CAS technique challenge to use the chalkboard technique and it's my favorite! I stamped the image in Versamark then cut an reverse oval mask to add white ep to only the center portion of the image. I got lots of "seepage" of powder onto the frame portion, but I didn't mind as it adds to the chalkboard feel. I punched with the Designer Label punch then smeared on some white craft ink with a sponge. I embossed my flowers on Basic Grey cs then rounded a couple of corners. I sponged white over the raised portions and a bit in the corners. Lastly, I added a Cherry Cobbler Antique Brad bow.

Another elegant combination of elements. That gorgeous embossing and the pop of the bow brings everything together. Another beautiful submission, Gail.

I love how you salvaged something that didn't work and turned it into 3 cards that do work. I need to fish my mistakes out of the recycling bin and do the same.
This is beautiful! I love how you added the chalkboard effect to the rose layer.
