This is for the MIX9 challenge to use metal. I wrapped heavy duty aluminum foil around corrugated cardboard and ran it through my Big Shot. I painted it with black craft paint, heat set it and sanded it off. I took it off the cardboard and made it the size I wanted. I added staples with my tiny attacher, DInked edges and the tag.

This background is fabulous! Really sets off the tag and focal image! Great masculine card!

Fabulous background! I would never have thought the foil would hold up going through the Big Shot on the corrugated cardboard. You are a fabulous adventurer!
I love this card. The background piece is wonderful. Thank you for explaining how you made it. I've already tried it out. It makes a great mat. I also like your overall card design--very bold and dramatic. Thank you for sharing. Daria
