This is my submission for my 1st week as one of the CAS Design Team Members. I've created a faux chalkboard look by rubbing white embossing powder across black paper.
I fought with the gallery a bit and couldn't get the photo I wanted uploaded. You can check out my blog for details and a better photo of the effect - http://createwithsarah.blogspot.com/...ky-thanks

This definitely looks like a chalkboard and what a perfect thank you card for a teacher! Congrats on being a part of the new Spring DT! Looking forward to seeing more of you work!

Wow! This is awesome! I like how you matted the chalkboard.. Very realistic... And the stamps you chose were perfect! But the details especially caught my eye... The graph paper in the background, the washi tape, and the clip with bakers twine... You rocked this challenge. So tickled to be designing with you this spring!

So cute. Love how your stamps look like they go with a school and the place we all first encountered a chalkboard! Wonder if that context will be gone for the next generation of stampers since most schools now use whiteboards!

Terrific CAS thank you card for a teacher(I assume). Love the line drawing stamp(s) that you chose to convey learning. Congratulations on your Design Team post.
