No foolin'...it's time for the Creative Crew again! This is also my last month in my term on the Design Team; I've had a blast! I hope you all play along with us too.
This is my card for the Holiday Focus: "Let's make cards for the men in our lives! I need these often, and I don't make them enough. Challenge yourself by using a non-masculine set to make your masculine card or by trying a new technique."
I pulled out Zoo Review and snagged the lion from this cute set to make a Father's Day card. The image is stamped with Jet Black StazOn onto watercolor paper and then colored with an Aquapainter and Watercolor Wonder Crayons, It's layered on Bashful Blue and Garden Green cs, wrapped with Linen Thread and embellished with a Garden Green Designer Button. The card base is Soft Suede cs and so is the embossed/sponged layer. I added some ric-rak of Garden Green, More Mustard and Bashful Blue, spritzed it with my Soft Suede Marker and added the main image with the Happy Father's Day tag.

Great combo of texture from the Big Shot, and then 'texture' created by the spatters. Makes it a great guy card.
Your water colouring really brought the lion to life,

I love this card!! So much texture and I love the water coloring (that is a big weakness of mine!). Love the spritzing too.... I always forget to do that but I love the look!
