This is my card for the WT420 challenge, to use gingham on your card. I used this week's sketch challenge for the layout.
The Memory Box Dogwood Flower Outline die was cut from black cs and adhered to the Bazzill gingham background with spray adhesive. I colored it using colored pencils, but I wasn't happy with it. I went back over it with Distress Markers to punch up the color a bit. I used a MS punch for the butterflies, and a SB die to cut the oval shape. Since I wanted only a thin line of red around the image, I fussy-cut the red mat. I used a die cut foam oval for dimension, and though you can't see it in the photo, I painted the blossom and butterflies with Glitter Pssst Shimmer Mist.
The mats behind the strips were done with the Perfect Layers tools. The bow is Paper Studio Ribbon.
As always, thanks for looking!
