Hi, everyone! Today I would like to share a recipe card and tag which were made from the Recipe Card and Tags Bundle from Our Daily Bread designs. I wanted the tag to mimic the cake, so the scalloped circle frame was stamped in saffron and the heart was stamped in red. For the recipe card, the background was stamped with the 'Gingham Background' stamp, was cut out with the 'Recipe Card and Tags Die', then stamped with the 'Recipe Card Lines', 'Recipe Card Icons', and 'Recipe Card Categories'. I love the tag and your recipe card in gingham. The recipe sounds fairly easy and the cake looks yummy so I may try this for Sunday dessert. Thanks for the inspiration.

This was the only cake my high school sweetheart would eat. So I made many of these during my high school days. The recipe shows clearly the reason this cake tastes so wonderful- 3 STICKS OF BUTTER! Thanks for reminding me. Your tag and recipe card are so sweet- couldn't help myself.
