Linda(Holstein) gave us a fun challenge that includes one of my favorite things...GINGHAM. Gingham DPs are getting hard to come by, but PTI has come out with some in their paper collection. I decided to use the taupe(Soft Stone) shade which isn't as common as the red, blues and pinks, but I thought it was a pretty foil for the bright poppies.

Beautiful poppies on the soft grey gingham, Sallie! I guess, I am lucky, my LSS knows I love gingham, polka dots and plaids, so she buys a lot of it for me. We enable each other!

Sallie - I LOVE that muted gingham!
I'd finished up my favourite red a long time ago, and the pink, blue and green I still have are practically impossible to match with any of my colouring media :-(, a neutral colour like this would have wonderful to have.
I love poppies always, so you have a winning combination here in my book .

Sallie, I thought of you immediately when I saw the challenge was gingham I love the taupe, have never seen that in gingham before. And it is such a lovely bg for those beautiful long stem poppies. Beautiful card!
