I used a brass stencil from TSC for my image. I traced it with Distress markers in Spiced Marmalade and Forest Moss on watercolor paper. To soften the look, I lightly painted over it with a water brush. I added a very pale shadow with the Pumice Stone marker and lots of water. After die-cutting the image with a LC die, I sponged the edges with Peeled Paint Distress Ink and layered it onto Bazzill Irish Eyes cs. There are transparent Starform glitter dots in the corners.
The background layer was stamped with Stampabilities Faded Text using VersaMark and rubbed with dust from a pale green soft pastel. I added a border punched with a MS edger punch and adhered the image panel. I added a small bow to the flower stems and left off any sentiment; I may add one later depending on how I use the card.
Val, I hope you like it! And as always, thanks for looking!

Mmmm, I love this pretty bouquet with the sweet orange bow. That is a good technique you used to make the bg too. I keep forgetting to use chalk/pastels. Thank you so much Jody for honoring me with this lovely card.
