I wanted to make a birthday card for my oldest sister Grace, she doesn't really celebrate birthday's anymore so I made a pretty card with no sentiment & I'll just write a special note.
I hope this doesn't look like a wedding card though, but at 1:50 in the morning, it's to late, I have to mail it tomorrow.
I wanted to use my new CB ef that my daughter's got me, but not sure what the name is. I used it on the 1st layer, then used the CB big dot ef on the strips. I heat embossed the flowers with white ep on a Spellbinders oval die, added a MB butterfly & tied a ribbon. The oval is raised with 3D foam.

Gorgeous stamping! I'm a sucker for silhouette stamps and this is a beauty. Looks wonderful against the dark purple and the various textured white panels behind it really set it off. That beautiful die cut butterfly is the icing on the birthday cake. :-)

This is so beautiful, Connie! It would make a nice wedding card, but why not a birthday or thinking of you card? Your sister is sure to love this, so striking with the richness of the eggplant~
