This week is Tickle a Tea Potter week! Our reward for the other weeks where we send our cards off to special recipients. This week an unsuspecting Teapotter will be the recipient, that is if the mail gets through.
I've brought Brooster Cogburn to the party. He's the American cousin of Mr. Goldchicken.
Brooster is a rooster who struts his stuff,
searching for a hen just isn't enough.
Brooster has a special call,
the hens all swoon, some may fall.
He struts and he calls
from dawn until dusk
scratching around in the dust.
His cockscomb is bright on top of his head,
feathers that shine from blue to red.
So when you hear Brooster early in the morn,
He's signaling a new day is born.
Brooster is from coloring pages off the internet. I had him all colored from what my brain said his colors should be, decided to check, what a surprise, I was pretty darn close! Brooster is colored with Prismacolor pencils and fussy cut. The bg is various yellow scraps cut to make a sunrise. There's a Spellbinders sun in there too. The ground that Brooster struts upon is cork.

Roosters do have amazing colors, don't they? However, it's that sunburst behind him that really draws the eye. Great job on that, and on the whole card.
