Karen's colors this week are Daffodil Delight, More Mustard, and Tempting Turquoise. I chose to create this geometric background by masking off portions of my card stock and using the direct to paper technique with my stamping pads. I then stamped The Best of Times background and Poppies images. I used my Stampin' Up markers in this week's colors to add definition to my poppies.
Stamps: Poppies and Best of Times bg by Rubbernecker
Paper: Very Vanilla, Tempting Turquoise
Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black; Stampin' Up So Saffron, More Mustard, Tempting Turquoise
Accessories: buttons, ribbon, SU markers in More Mustard, Daffodil Delight, and Tempting Turquoise

Wow Charlene, I LOVE your geometric design. What a great way to use the masking technique. Your stamped and marker colored flowers over your stamped texted bg is so creative and pretty. The ribbon and buttons are the perfect embellishments. TFS

I was cleaning out my craft room the other day and came across some "tamp-a-tiles" that I got years ago. When you use them, they make the same patterns that you have on your card. I love the technique! Your card is so colorful and pretty!
