We stampers are, if nothing else, a resourceful lot.
Was working on some additional copies of the Easter card I posted last weekend. Was just finishing up coloring my image and one of my Copic markers slipped out of my hand and went splat -- open tip down on the card base. Big mark that no amount of colorless blender was going to be able to take out and where any attempt to camouflage would look extremely odd.
I sure didn't want to fussy cut the image, so thought for sure it was destined for the trash can. But then I remembered some window die cuts my friend Loll Thompson had gifted me so that I could try them out before deciding whether or not to purchase. Laid the die over my image and loved the look.
Since the bunny wasn't carrying a basket of eggs or chocolate candy, decided there was no reason the card had to be for Easter. So instead I turned it into a birthday card that I will send to a friend later this Spring.
