I created this for the final round of the CAS Spring DT search. We were stopping on the housewares floor of Macy's and to make a card using an inpirational photo provided.
While I loved the combination of colors and patterns in the overall photo, I was drawn to the dominance of orange in the colander, the perforations in it and the silver accents! The photo reminded me of a modern kitchen, so I went with a graphic, modern design. I went with a "home" theme since we were in the housewares department! I added some inner circles to the punched circles after looking at the photo again and noticing that particular design on one of the handmade fabric eggs.
I popped up the finished, layered silver/orange panel with foam dots to give the card a little dimension.
