I first tried a damask with black ink and was not real happy so I did this one.
First off, let me say I went to a rummage at a local scrapbooking store and I CAN'T BELIEVE I bought someone else's scraps. But I did and that's my background. Insert Chuckle here. I think I'm in love with paper.
I stamped SU Garden Silhouettes with VersaMark and embossed it with white, added a blue layer and a Victorine Originals sentiment and die cut a Spellbinders butterfly from the same blue CS.
Our grass and bushes looked just like this a couple weeks ago. I am SO inspired by nature's beauty.

GREAT colors on this Carol! I love the white against all those stripes! That butterfly has such wonderful texture to it. You crack me up with your comment about the rummage sale....hehehe...I don't know anyone who would do that (eyebrow raised...)

Beautiful card! The white embossed flowers on the bright striped bg is so striking and pretty. I would've never thought to do that. The embossed butterfly is the icing on the cake.

Cool card, Carol! Love the white embossing on your bargain striped DP. I would so do the same thing, IF I could fit another scrap of paper in my stamp cave. Hmm... are you in the market for some more scraps? LOL
