I made another cross similar to this one a few days ago, and saw that I had the ribbon draped incorrectly or backwards. At that time I said I'd make another, so this is that one. Then I went crazy making these, making 2 more after this and three more without the ribbon, but all of them having the embroidery. They will all be sent out for Easter.
These were actually easy to make, though the embroidery on this one took about an hour. This is the largest Floral Oval. This is all done using Strathmore 140 lb watercolor c/s. There's a wonderful texture and nice creamy white color.

Oh my, this is so elegant and so meaningful with the pure colours and the intricate detail, Jennifer! Truly one of the most creative Easter cards I've seen! Love the draped ribbon!

WOW I have done this type of embroidery but not with the holes punched so close together! Even an hour doesn't seem too bad for all that work! This is gorgeous! I'd be very curious what template you used to punch that! Thanks for sharing your beautiful work!

O.K. this color is even yummier! I love the score lines on this one and the oval shape done in your needlework is exquisite! Who ever recieves this will be VERY amazed at being the recipient of this lovley peice of art!
