This week the Teapotters are making cards for one of our own, Linda (zgirlsgranny), who is fighting cancer. I think Linda was active in some challenges, including VSN, so probably lots of folks know her. If you'd like to send her some love and support, check here: MMTPT241 Strong & Sweet Zuzu, What Will You Do? by momof5sons at Splitcoaststampers
This is also the MFT sketch challenge for this week, and the Ways to Use it, using piercing. Actually, it started out as a card for the ombre technique challenge, because I thought a paint sample card would be the perfect example of ombre. I'm not sure the lightest green is light enough to really count, however. I just kept changing things as I worked on this card, so nothing is what I planned.
This seed packet image is an actual stamp (as opposed to the stickers I used a few weeks ago). Colored with pencils. Circle is embossed. There's a row of border sticker tape under the sentiment -- I started out with ribbon there and just didn't like how it looked

Well, this card may not be as you had planned it, but it sure turned out nice! I like how you used a paint sample for the ombre technique challenge ... way to think outside the box!

Oh sweetie, this is ombre for sure...put that keyword on it too! LOVE this!! What a great garden card, what with all of those nifty challenges you combined...phenomenal result. Your piercing, the textured panel and the pretty border treatment look so lovely. Linda is going to love this! Thanks so much for coming to her Teaparty, now duck those pots and cameras that are being flung about and grab some cookies! Big Hugz from NJ.

Sandy, some of the greatest card don't end up like we had planned. Lovely seed packet!
