This week our cards are headed off to one of our own Teapotters, Zgirlsgranny, aka Linda. Linda has been going through the process of fighting cancer, thus it has been leaving her with no energy to do what she loves to do, including the Tea Parties. The light of Linda's life, is her daughter and 3 granddaughters. Besides playing on SCS, Linda loves woodworking, ceramics, gardening and photography, thus the direction of our cards.
I went with the woodworking theme. Using thin sheets of wood paper for the sentiment panel and flowers. I would love to see what type of woodworking Linda does. My late Grandfather did whittling and I have a nice collection of his pieces. So I can imagine her granddaughters having wonderful craft treasures that Grandma made.
The sentiment is from two different stamps. The flowers are done using the Cheery Lynn cherry blossom dies. The leaves are Marianne Creatables. The little flowers are from a Michael's dollar punch.
Linda, I send you warm thoughts and prayers, and most of all the strength to get past this and back to doing what you love!

Oh-my-goodness Jennifer, you never cease to amaze me! This is gorgeous! I can't believe that you got those flowers to be so dimensional being made out of wood - that must have been fun...giggle! I love your layout and the pretty diagonal scoring. Thanks so much for coming to the Teaparty this week...your cookies are waiting for you behind the posts that Mudder is flinging. Hugz.

Your woodworking is so great - just right for the challenge. Your combined sentiment is also just right I really like the cascade of vines and flowers - you must have a nice collection of dies!

I love the woodworking theme, Jennifer! Your flowers look very nice in the chocolate (I would not have thought to use that color) and the sentiment is perfect for Linda~
