Congratulations again, Connie. I hope you are enjoying your much deserved time in the spotlight. I had to bring DA MAN to the party. Here is the card that inspired me Wanted for Alex I stamped off this handsome image while visiting with our dear sweet Pat Smethers. Who doesn't just love this handsome, hunky cowboy. I used the same image as Connie, I made the faux leather paisley panel. First I inked up my paisley ef with vintage sepia ink. Placed a piece of kraft cardstock in the folder - ran throught the CB. Next I inked up the embossed cardstock with versamark ink and the applied clear embossing powder and heated the powder to give it the glossy sheen. I love this look. Sponged edges and matted with a darker brown CS. Adherred the black ribbon and leather strip with the cactus concho. Sewed edges. Used the out of the box technique to get his hand outside the circle. distressed edges. Matted oval with brown and black cs. distressed edges. I made the rope embellishment using some string. Attached image to background panel. Next I finished it off with the bird rhinestone embellishment. Finished the inside of my card.
Thanks for looking,
Hugs..Pat

Howdy Patricia. What a great card. I love how you used clear ep over the kraft for a sheen look. Just fabulous! I love everything about this & who doesn't love this cowboy? Thanks so much for viewing my gallery & casing one of my cards.
Love the results of the technique you and Connie used on the background. Will have to try that. Awesome card.

Not sure how/where to start. Your coloring is awesome! The shiny embossed background is very cool! Love the cactus! I think I may even have one of those. The rope and bird top it all off perfectly! What an amazing card! TFS. : )
