to use cherry cobbler, always artichoke, and river rock. I don't have any of the second and third colours so searched my stash for something that would work and found a perfect piece of dp that has all three colours in it. I used Versafine Olympia Green which is the closest green ink I have to always artichoke - I stamped the image in it and also used it with a Ranger nib to add more colour to the pine needles. The cardinals are coloured with a cherry cobbler marker and the cardbase is a cs that is very close to that colour. I went over the snow on the branches with white poster paint pen.
The card is also for SCS's March Christmas Card Challenge which is to use things from the bottom of our stash (which is the dp) or things we haven't used for a long time (which is the stamp I used).
The card is 6.25" x 3.5" - made to suit the shape of the stamp and to use up an odd sized envelope from my stash.

Gorgeous card, love everything about it. So happy you are using up your stash. I have the Ranger nibs and not sure how it use them, thanks for sharing. Thanks for accepting the challenge.

This is very cute. I like that card size too -- but never have tried making one. I like the dp ... can't believe that is old.
