I couldn't wait to get up this morning and put this idea together. Visions of this and another card danced in my head instead of sleep. I used white craft ink on the black paper and versamark on the white paper before popin' the pastels. I found that the colors poped out more vibrant when I used q-tips instead of sponge daubers with my pastels. Just be sure to pounce up and down and don't rub. I stamped the lowercase i for the chalk in the girls hand with versamark then poped it with blue since that was the color of the last letter drawn on the board. I added two yellow eyelets to her dress.

What a great idea for a teacher's birthday! I love this stamp set and it shouldn't have been discontinued!!! I have people asking all the time when they look at my scrap books what this set is. I wish it would make a comback!

Very cute card! Being someone who is currently doing my student teaching before I get my teaching certificate, I would LOVE to get a card like this from any student!
