Korin has once again, has given us a fabulous sketch! I did change it just a little. I switched layer three with layer four just so you could see more of the lace.
I am also using this card for the Color Challenge. I used the Bashful Blue and Raspberry Ripple, but left off the Primrose Petal. The dessert was to make a Spring or Easter cardÂ….this may be a spring card for some of you! LOL Just kidding, skipping dessert. I used this wonderful Cardinal (digi stamp) from Sweet N Sassy Stamps. I left the branch uncolored and instead used Star Dust Stickles so it would look snowy.
Lastly, this works for the central theme of the Fan Club: Icing and Sprinkles - Make it sweet, make it sparkle, make it just a little something special with this month's Icing and Sprinkles theme. I think the Cardinal is sweet and the branch is sparkly! Thanks for taking a peek!
Korin, thank you so much for asking me to guest design with you this week!

Kathleen, this looks just like the fat cardinals at my feeder outside the wondow. They are a great distraction during therapy! Beautiful use of today's sketch..

This is beautiful Kathleen. Great coloring and I love Cardinals. I have several pairs that live in my back yard. I have some huge trees. Your card is lovely.

This is so pretty Kathleen! And I just saw a cardinal (against a very snowy bg) yesterday! The colors work so well for this...and I love the way you added the sparkly bits.

Hi Kathleen! I love your avatar! My avatar is my horse, Houston. I love your bird! I'm feeding them right now and getting such enjoyment out of watching them.
