When I saw feathers on the supply list, I wondered if it had to be real feathers or if I could somehow work my scribe stamps of quills into the project. Since the real feathers I could find without a trip to the store were pretty lame, I was so happy to use my quill stamps. I wrote the sentiment in my best Italic hand, too! I used a paintchip for the colored openings.

I used to do calligraphy years ago, so your card immediately caught my attention. I love how you've stamped your images in the circles and how you've done the blue becoming darker towards the righthand side. Your Italic writing is perfect and very neat. Lovely card!! TFS.

I adore using paint chips, and this is a great example of effective use of them. Your calligraphy looks professional to me, I assumed it was a stamp until I read your description. And very clever use of the quill stamps.
