I can't take too much credit (or accept too much blame) for anything on this card, except the assembling of said card. I have a collection of artist created paste paper that I hoard but every once in a while I break them out. The papers are all so different and rich, very satisfying to use. I think I will give this to an artist friend, who is giving me art lessons! My Dad was an artist but I never developed the ability to draw or paint and I wanted to see if I could even begin to do that. So far it has been fun and amazing. Tomorrow we are going to explore Zentangle. She gave me the piece of shiny teal colored paper. My card is square but only 4x4 so it should fit into a standard envelope.

I love all the fun embellishments you've arranged together here, and I'm sure your friend will appreciate it!
Being an artist can take many forms, and I would definitely say you can take credit and thank your Dad for having an artistic imagination. Your creations that you share here are always very original and unique, and show a way of seeing and using things that I never would have thought of myself- that, to me, is being an artist!

Woooie! Take some credit, Girl. If you put this together, you get the credit. My dad was an artist too. I inherited the DESIRE to be one. Your "color wheel" has one of my favorite colors. You did very well here and I wish you luck with your art lessons.

Really cool! Kudos for challenging yourself with new learning. This card is spectacular and you certainly didn't waste that hoarded paper...it is perfect for this card.
