I'm waaay late to the party but I decided to post this card anyway, which combines the Mix3 (combine newsprint and the colour red) and Mix4 (using water-soluble pigments.) I took a piece of patterned paper with text on it and brushed it with gesso, then stamped the poppies on top and coloured them in with markers, blender pens and inkpads, and had to go over the outlines of the poppies with a black fine-tip marker. I smudged some distress inks on the panel and around the edges, then added some butterflies made of the new SU filter paper that I spritzed with water and touched with a Pacific Point marker. I embossed a piece of Sahara Sand cs with some swirls and wiped some white craft ink over the raised parts, and mounted the whole thing on a Sahara Sand card base with some more inking around the edges.

This is gorgeous! You did a great job of combining the challenges. I really like the way your embossed and inked background complements your colorful poppies and butterflies.
