These are for the "In The Mood for a Swap" swap. They are to be techniques to share with each other.
This technique is called "Faux Speckled Graniteware Enamel". I used black cardstock, put embossing ink all over it and used black embossing powder to make the whole surface shiny. Then I put on more embossing ink, and just sprinkled a little black and white embossing powder mixed together over the black and reheated. She also has a book about collage and altered art that I have almost read to death. You can see this on her blog. I asked her for permission to try some of her stuff here, and she was very gracious and said I could. Such a talented lady.
Anyhow, after I made the speckled paper, I cut out the little pots by hand and hung them on the wall with a brad.
