I hadn't had a chance yet to honor our Queen for the Day Carole aka ckbythesea. Check out her gallery and join in the fun at the QFTD challenge. I chose this beautiful card to CASE. I used similar colors from Carole's card to make my bg by swiping reinkers on an alcohol soaked cotton ball to add color to glossy cs. I inked up my collage image with Stazon Timber on the trees and reflected trees and Black for the rest. I then stamped the same image onto Natural Ivory and used marker layering and watercolor pencils with a blender pen to color the cattails and bird. I used a craft knife to cut this out and my new Xyron that I won during the HYCCT challenges to get it ready to flue onto the bg panel. Since it was a circle stamp, I die cut a circle frame and used a circle for my sentiment layering onto a wood button over a hemp bow. I used embossed Cajun Craze and a strip of burlap for my horizontal and vertical strips.

Wow! What a lot of work you put into this beautifully colored image! Love the sky, the whole tone of the card...the natural details and textures. Beautiful work!
