This week the feature stamper is Andrea (Stampinandrea). She has a gallery filled with beautiful cards and a whole bunch of cuties too! I just couldn't move past this gorgeous card when I saw it:
My version is made with creamy chalks (I still haven't got that brayering down! LOL) and I kept the layout virtually the same. I decided to use a non-religious but encouraging sentiment. Many times during the Cards for a Cause they have rules about that. Which personally, I think is a shame. Many folks really rely on their personal beliefs during those times of greatest need. Okay, stepping away from the lecturn!
Andrea, your card is so beautiful!!! It went into my favorites and plan to refer to it as the need arises. Congratulations too!!!

Kathleen, what a beautiful and encouraging card this is - I got a lift just looking at it. You did a great job with the chalks. Try brayering on Glossy cardstock - Do the lightest coloring down at the bottom, then with each succeeding color, start and work down from the top. It makes it a lot easier for the colors to blend!!
Sorry I am late getting here - between the card class I had today, dinner with family and the Oscars - have to get back on track!! LOL
