First time taking the Mix-Ability Challenge. I love Mixed Media so I had to come play.
Read - is a page from an old book
Red:
Splotches are Liquitex Acrylic ink blown around the page with a drinking straw
Circles - toilet paper roll dipped in acrylic paint
Dots - gel pen
The twine is held in place by a glob of glue and little dabs of glue on the back of the ribbon
Sentiment label made with SU Curly Label punch and McGill punch. To make the white layer, the white later is hand cut. To get a chalkboard effect, I stamped the sentiment using WW Craft ink, while still wet I dabbed it with white chalk ink and used a white chalk pencil to add the line. I smeared the line with a tiny cotton ball.
Friend brad I bought a Michaels years ago. Flower embellishments from Michaels jewelry dept.
Base layers are Whisper White, Glossy Black, unknown DSP.
