I'm not a story kind of a person, but a friend of mine whose husband became an quadrapalegic last summer has had the last 7 months to become a woman who can do things for her self ( alone ) they have been married almost 31 years now so this is huge, and she bought a new home to be renovated to suit him so he can leave a care facilitiy. and its *almost* ready for them to move into. which is going to be a huge adjustment for both of them as you can imagine. This is 5 1/2" square in real life. tfl. & Thanks for this challenge, I thought for sure I had something along the lines of welcome home but, since most my MFT stamps tend to lean towards the snarky sentiment collections this will have to do.

Oh my gosh this is fabulous! How terribly sad for your friend and her husband. This card is just gorgeous! The texture, design and crocheted piece truly make this outstanding!

This is such a gorgeous card. Your friend has had a whole lot of changes and challenges to deal with and I am sure she will absolutely love this knowing the love you put into creating it. The sentiment is perfect and any other one would seem out of place. Inspiring.

Stacy, I love this! I love the bg embossing and that wonderful arrow in corrugated paper. I love that heart doily.....did you crochet it yourself (and if you did, do you have the instructions?)
